On October 16, the Korea America Friendship Society (KAFS) presented the Korea America Friendship Award to retired General Vincent K. Brooks, who served as the Commander of the ROK-US Combined Forces Command from May 2016 to November 2018.
General Brooks is recognized for having enhanced the tactical capabilities of the ROK-US Combined Forces Command and improving the ROK-US Alliance.
